  No, he doesn't have a chance because very few republicans agree with his message.

  So far as Paul raising a lot of money, where did the money come from? Not from the kind of people he needs to win the Republican nomination, not from mainstream Republicans.

  So far as Huck once wanting to isolate all those diagnosed with AIDS, had this action been taken years ago many lives would have been saved. Reasonable minds will haqve no trouble seeing this is true.

  So far as Huck saying homosexual behavior is immoral, he is a Bible believing Christian. All Bible believing Christians believe the same thing. If that is the worst Huck's critics can say about him, that he is a Bible believing Christian, his critics are in trouble.

  Ron can't possibly win in Iowa, or anywhere else. Not in a Republican primary anyway. He is the "Get out of Iraq NOW!" candidate. Right or wrong, few Republicans agree with him.

  After the first three debates on National television, three mainstream news channels featured polls asking the American people who won.

  Ron Paul only won those "Who won the debate?" surveys because all the anti-war Democrats called in to vote for "Get out of Iraq now" Ron Paul. Dems can't vote in the primaries.

  I gotta hand it to your guy. In the latest Newsweek Poll in Iowa he is actually now beating Mc Cain. But even 8 points is not going to get him anywhere.

  Ron Paul leads in no poll that actually polls those who say they are likely to vote in a Republican caucus or primary. That stuff you have posted is mainly a bunch of Dems and independents supporting Paul. That's why his web site gives instructions to his supporters on how to change their party affiliation so they can vote for him.

  Today's Rasmussen Poll:

  In the race for the Republican Presidential Nomination, it’s Mike Huckabee on top at 22% and Rudy Giuliani close behind at 18%. Mitt Romney earns 13%, John McCain 12% and Fred Thompson has slipped to single digits at 9% (see recent daily numbers). Ron Paul is the only other candidate with measurable support and he currently attracts 7% of Likely Republican Primary voters nationwide.

  7% is not gonna do it. If he was going to make any bigger move he would have done so by now.

  He told Peter to put his sword away. For it was not the time and place to use it. Christ wished to give up his life for us without a fight, willingly, "like a sheep to the slaughter."

  Christ told Peter that "He who lives by the sword will die by the sword." In saying this he clearly was condemning a life devoted to violence. But he was not forbidding the proper use of deadly force. He obviously had permitted his followers to carry swords for their own protection. Christ asked, "How many swords do you have?" They answered "Two." He said, "That's enough." (Luke 22:36-38) Highway robbers were quite common in those days. (Remember the story of the "good Samaritan" who helped a man who was obviously unable to protect himself from such an attack.) The first Gentile convert to Christianity was a Roman army officer. Peter did not tell him he had to leave the Army before he would baptise him. (Acts 10) The writer of Romans even tells us that God has authorized earthly governments in their use of deadly force when they feel it is called for. "For they are God's servants to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for they do not bear the sword for nothing. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer." (Rom. 13:4)

  Jehovah's Witnesses refuse to let any member of the military or police join their religion even though the first Gentile accepted into the Christian congregation was a Roman army officer. Peter baptized Cornelius without ever demanding that he first resign from the military. (Acts 10) The fact that Jehovah's Witnesses treat baptismal candidates differently than Peter did shows that they do not have "The Truth."

  I didn't say people who don't believe in the Bible have no morals. I said they lack a "divine moral code." A moral code given to them from a "higher authority" than themselves. Everyone has their own set of morals.

And I fall short of the glory of God every minute of every day. (Rom. 3:22,23) However, in order to continue to receive God's forgiveness God requires us to do our best to live righteously. And that I do. When I fail God forgives me. Christians are not perfect. They are just forgiven.

  "A war" certainly seems to mean any war. So are you saying WW2 was OK but not other wars? Why are you allowed to decide what wars are OK but you deny that right to other Christians?

  Would you have stood idly by and let the armies of Iraq kill tens of thousands of kurds with poison gas and then rape and murder thousands of Kuwaitis as they did after invading Kuwait? Would you have stood idly by and watched the Cambodian armies of Pol Pot kill hundreds of thousands of innocents in his killing fields?

  Jesus said to love your neighbor. If your next door neighbor's home was being invaded and you saw from your window that your neighbors were being raped, tortured and killed one by one would you refuse to use deadly force to protect them? Jesus made clear that our "neighbor" is anyone who we see needs our help.

  Did you know Jesus told his disciples to buy and carry swords to protect themselves? (Luke 22:36-38)
